I’m Maximus Napier, and I created Front Royal Insider as a way to shine a light on the incredible small businesses that make our town unique.

Growing up in Front Royal, VA, I’ve always admired the hardworking people behind our local shops, restaurants, and services. Every small business has a story—whether it’s a family passing down a dream for generations, an entrepreneur taking a risk to build something new, or a passionate individual turning their skills into a livelihood. But too often, these stories go untold.

That’s where this blog comes in.

My goal is simple: to sit down with business owners, hear their journeys, and share those experiences with the community. I want to know what inspired them, the challenges they’ve faced, and what keeps them going—even on the toughest days. I believe that small businesses aren’t just storefronts; they’re the heart of our town, and they deserve to be celebrated.

This isn’t about making money (at least, not right now). This is about passion. I love hearing stories, meeting new people, and connecting with the local businesses that make Front Royal special.
